Outsourced
I’m sitting in a hotel lobby (in Orlando this time) watching a lady erect Christmas trees. It’s only mid November (and there are palm trees outside) so I’m not exactly ready yet to snuggle on the couch with the Charlie Brown Christmas Special. The interesting thing, however, is that the lady is wearing a shirt that says “Holiday Crew” with a phone number on the back. This means that she gets paid to go places and decorate. The question this leads me to isn’t so much “I wonder how much they pay to outsource their holiday cheer,” but rather, “I wonder how many of my hobbies I could get paid for?” Hmm, I wonder if this is how Scrooge got his start.

Kent,I have a funny question for you. A long time ago you posted a link to a graphic design website under your link of the day thing. I had it on my bookmarks on my old computer, but now I can't remember the name. I do remember that they come out with a Christmas background and screensaver every year though. One year it was red candles, another year it was a little animated Christmas village. They also come out with one every summer. My favorite was the red hibiscus. Do you happen to remember the name of that website or even have any clue about what I am talking about? :)

Nevermind. I figured it out. Hybrid Works. I love that website.
Glad you found it because I might not have. I thought about doing a recap somehow of every recommended link, but then, not being a real web designer I have no idea how I would do that. The current link is one of my favorites, though (oh yeah, I already said that). Anyway, good to hear from you Kate E. or Anonymous. or katie385.
